What if the Eighth Doctor finally got his own series? Doctor Who: Version Control is my pitch for one, serialised in nine parts. Part 1 makes the case for Paul McGann: one TV film, years of unseen travel, and a gap the show never filled. From there the pitch unrolls a part at a time, through to the ending, with the antagonist kept for Part 2. Deadstream sits beside it as a bonus script and the seed of Episode 1. Not a commission and not a submission. It just wanted writing.
